Though not alive in the usual sense, a graveborn is given to the usual vicissitudes of life, excepting that they have different needs and desires born from an existence of unlife. It is said that they form entire cities in the places that the living fear to visit, but sometimes these dead creatures spill out into the world, pressed on by curiosity and caprice. From strange shadows and dark recesses of the world lurk the graveborn, a grim mockery of life wound into a strange and somehow prevalent race of undead creatures.
